Memories of Ron Quoos
On July 30, 2008 my brother Ron took his own life. I am posting this here in memorial to him because he made many friends while we attended NCHS. While we went to school here at NCHS he and I were both members of the Marching and concert band. He also was a member of the Jazz band and also played football. Ron became a truckdriver like our dad after he graduated from NCHS. He won many safe driver awards and truck rodeo's. He was married and had 3 children. His oldest was a daughter who is now 21, his second child was a son and he is now a senior in high school and will be 18 soon, he is also taller than Ron ever was. His youngest was a son as well who just turned 13. Our family has been devastated by this loss, so in memorial to him I would like to dedicate this saying to him. The author of this saying is unknown.
If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane
we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye
you were gone before we knew it and only GOD knows why
Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears stil flow
what it meant to lose you no one will ever know
But now we know you want us to mourn for you no more
to remember all the happy times life still has much in store
since you'll never be forgotten we pledge to you today
a cherished place within our hearts is where you'll always stay.
I love you and miss you so much Ronnie. Thank you for always being there for me. You were the best brother in the whole world and you were always my hero.
Rest in peace now, you are free now and I forever dedicate your class song "Freebird" to you. Your loving sister Kris
